This happens every year at Te Mahia School and is scheduled on low tide so that tamariki can run along the sand most of the run, before coming up onto the road.
Room3 ran along the sand, and only had to run a short distance on the road, where we caught the bus quickly back to school to help cheer on our senior runners!
We have some very talented runners in our school, and it was obvious!
A very big KA PAI to Waitama who came 3rd in the junior school! He wasn't just racing Room 3 people, but also some Room 2 people too!
We had some awesome place getters who had some very awesome running times.
A big congratulations to all our tamariki who participated, you all did very well!
