Our time is flying by- especially the time that I am in class.
As your all probably aware, I am only in class half the day this year, spending the other half of the day upskilling my reading teaching skills. So we try and squeeze as much as we can into our mornings! This week we have been introduced to our first books. Next week they will be coming home.
We have also been learning about what our brain needs to grow, because we are growing some massive brains in Room 3 this year!
As well as all the hard work we have had a lot of fun learning some new games- because our brains need exercise and fun to grow! Have a look at our photos of us playing "red elbow" where the teacher calls our a colour and a body part, and the class has to place that body part onto something that colour. It had us all laughing at the silly positions we had ourselves in!
Next week, and the week after Room 3 will have Mr Hoek instead of myself while I am away! He came into class today to meet us all and he is looking forward to all the cool stuff that's going to be happening over those two weeks!
