Week 5 Update!

Wow busy weeks already. We have had a whole load of fun during Weeks 2,3,4 & 5!

Week 2 we started Monday off with our trip around the Mahia Peninsula visiting all the beautiful places to take photos of. The kids all had turns using the camera to take photos of our beautiful views. You may have seen our calendars at gala! They have some pretty impressive photos in them. There will be an order in this weeks newsletter for those that missed out at Gala!

Week 2 Wednesday was Pet Day!
What a whole bunch of fun! Our class did an awesome job with their artworks! And what lovely pets our tamariki have. Thankyou to all the whanau that turned up and supported the day!  Congratulations also to all our prize winners! I bought Rosie in for the day and was super impressed with the kind and caring way Room 3 looked after her- she had a blast!

Week 4 we had an enviroschools trip up the Whangawehi to see the whitebait and eel habitats. The children loved the day- especially bringing back their whitebait to show me! (Thankfully I found the ones some had left in class before they started smelling!).

Week 4 was also Gala! What an awesome day. It was really cool to see everyone there. I hope you all enjoyed the day! Our calendars sold well- if you're after some remember check this weeks Panui.

Week 5 was an awesome week! And such a busy week! Wednesday we had the Whakarewa Cup. Man we have some very speedy runners in Room 3! Quite a lot of them even outrun students older than them! Thursday we had another enviroschools day. Unfortunately the trip to Kinikini Reserve was cancelled but we did have a very interesting lesson on what we need to pack in our bags for trips like that in the future- next time Room 3 will be sorted!

And of course on Friday we had the Kapa Haka festival! We were amazing! I have some beautiful photos taken on my camera (these are my phone one's)- which I will put up separately.

Hope you all have a fabulous week!
