Room 3's Cards for Gala

Room 3 have been using their writing skills to write some very important people some letters lately. This has been so we have an awesome product to sell at Gala.

We decided we could make Christmas Cards to sell to our whanau and friends at Gala so that they were sorted for Christmas time. We thought long and hard about how we could decorate them and thought why get our local talent involved so asked Oasis's Dad Uncle Bonce, if he could help us out.

We sent Uncle Bonce some letters asking him if he would mind helping us decorate our Christmas Cards, and he was more than happy to.

Before we started though we needed some card! Thankfully Miss D'Ath knew that Hitchy's mum (Mummy Hitchy), sells craft products so we all wrote her letters asking if we could please buy some card and envelopes off her. We must have sounded like super friendly tamariki because Mummy Hitchy sent us the card, and told us we could have it for free as part of a donation to the fixing up of our school pool!

We also had a very generous donation of beautiful stickers from Nanny Vienna.

So on Monday after our Whakarewa Run we had Aunty Ali, and Uncle Bonce come into class and help us decorate our awesome looking cards!

Room 3 tamariki had a whole lot of fun! Keep an eye out for some Thankyou's in the mail those of you who have been super generous with your time, skills, and products!

Also keep an eye out for our awesome Cards selling at Gala this weekend! They are selling for $2 each! (You will want to get in quickly because they look amazing!)
