Our first day back and we all had an awesome trip up to Gisborne to the mind lab. If you get the chance to check this place out make sure you do. It is awesome!
We all had to remember to meet the buses early and met ready to go at Fosters.Once we were at the mind lab we split into our classes and then the fun began.
Room 3 started off with the animation station! We were shown how movies are made and how it takes 24 still photos to make 1 second of moving picture!! We made some awesome movies, with some very interesting story lines. Hopefully mind lab will email these through and we will put them up!
Then it was off to program our own robots! Such cool fun. The kids were taking out people all over the shoe.
Finally it was in to do some computer coding. This concept was tricky for me to grasp let alone the kids! However they all did an awesome job of turning their computer keyboard into a musical instrument.
It was such an awesome day, and so cool to see Room 3 having a tonne of fun!
This week we are doing a lot of learning around ANZAC and why it is so important.
